We are delighted to announce that we will be donating a website to Middlesbrough’s alcohol free bar, Bar Zero.
Bar Zero, located on Linthorpe Road, is the brainchild of local philanthropist Andy Preston as part of a wider programme to support those in the region with drink problems as well as give people in the town a safe place to enjoy a night away from alcohol.
David Elvis, Director of Pink Penguin, said “I remember Andy telling me about his plans for this a while ago and thinking what a fantastic initiative it was. I knew that I had to help out with Pink Penguin and hopefully this small token gesture can go some way in supporting this brilliant charity”.
A 6 page website has been drafted out and will showcase the venue and highlight the range of events that Bar Zero will deliver.
Andy expressed his appreciation to the donation by saying “I am grateful for the team at Pink Penguin offering to provide us with a website for free. Teesside is such a friendly and close –knit community when it comes to charity work and this donation will help us massively in what we are trying to do here at Bar Zero”.
Of the project and Bar Zero itself, Andy added “We hope that this can help change lives by bringing people together, which can be motivational, inspirational and develop a sense of identity”.
More details and a link to the website will be shared by Pink Penguin on release.
