Services: Design, Print, Marketing
Project: J. J. Hardy & Sons are a Hartlepool based manufacturer of precision engineering parts for various sectors, including Rail, Oil & Gas and Energy.
Pink Penguin were initially commissioned for a small design a print piece. J.J. Hardy had recently won a brand new piece of machinery as part of a competition, which would have cost the firm a 5-figure investment had they had to purchase it. As part of the competition, some PR was to be ran and J.J. Hardy wanted some roller banner designs creating to include.
The firm had undergone a relatively recent re-brand with a new logo but there was still lots of old signs and use of the previous logo. As part of the design for the roller banner, Pink Penguin created a few additional pieces for the branding which could tie in with multiple marketing messages and platforms.
Following on from the roller banner, Pink Penguin wrote a PR article for J.J. Hardy after their MD, Andrew Pailor, visited some suppliers in Japan and invested over £250,000 on further new machinery. The PR piece focused around how this investment had helped safeguard a number of jobs for the firm and picked up coverage in multiple local media sources. Click here to view this.
“I can’t thank Pink Penguin enough for the work they’ve done for us. Though the design job was only a small project, their process and effort that went into it was fantastic and they were great to work with. Getting good media coverage was excellent too and that was all down to Pink Penguin”
– Andrew Pailor, Managing Director
